The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists eligible low-income households with their heating and cooling energy costs. The program also serves residents facing weather-related emergencies due to changing temperatures.  Walk-ins are only accepted on Wednesdays.  For an appointment, please call 504-278-4471. Please bring photo id, social security card, pay stubs, and energy bill to your appointment.
