why nest

We make it easy for families to get care.

Between checkups, sick visits, and sports physicals, parents are asked to make time for appointments for every kid, and they often skip their own. Each one can mean time off work, finding a ride, and arranging childcare.

So we bring care to families instead. Nest is a value-based care provider for families on Medicaid. Our care teams see parents and kids together, at home, in the community, and by video, with adult and pediatric primary care, same- and next-day sick visits, mental health and nutrition support, chronic condition management, and help with needs like food and housing.

Nest was founded in 2021 by Dr. Rebekah Gee, a practicing OB-GYN and former Louisiana Secretary of Health, and Rebecca Kavoussi. Today we partner with Medicaid health plans to care for thousands of families across Louisiana and Arizona, and in 2025, Fast Company named Nest one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies.
