Care before, during, and after pregnancy
Nest Origin supports families before, through, and beyond pregnancy, including:
Prenatal care at home with a certified nurse midwife led team
24/7 access to care and triage support
Care coordination and connection to resources
Postpartum support for both parent and baby (and siblings, too!)
A seamless transition back into Nest’s ongoing primary care model after delivery
Prenatal care with Nest means the same standard pregnancy care patients need, delivered at home. Instead of spending time traveling to clinic appointments, patients receive personalized prenatal visits in the comfort of their home.
Our team includes APRN certified nurse midwives, Nest clinicians, Nest Family Advocates, mental health specialist and others. We coordinate care with hospital OB teams and support patients from early pregnancy through the transition to delivery care. And beyond.
In-home visits
Patients receive nine prenatal visits throughout pregnancy from a midwife led Nest care team. These visits follow the same schedule and standards as traditional clinic based prenatal care.
Fewer clinic trips until delivery
Clinic visits are not required until late in pregnancy. Nest handles routine care at home and coordinates care with the patient’s OB team.
Seamless coordination with OB providers
Between weeks 34 and 36, care transitions to a delivering OB provider. Nest partners with OB teams at LSU, Touro, and Ochsner to ensure smooth transition and clear communication.
24/7 support and care coordination
Our team is available for triage and care support around the clock. We help families navigate pregnancy and connect with community resources when needed.
