Why Nest exists

What families ask us most

No cost to you. If your family is covered by a participating health plan, Nest is available at no additional cost to you.

Parents under 65 and their children ages 0–18 who live in the same home and are covered by a participating Medicaid health plan.

Two people: your provider (a nurse practitioner or physician assistant) and a family advocate (a medical assistant), at your home or a trusted place nearby. Doctors, nurses, and mental health specialists may also join by phone or video.

Your first visit is in person. We see everyone who needs care in one visit, with time set aside for each person. Visits usually last 30–60 minutes, depending on your family.

No. Nest is your primary care provider. We work with your OB-GYN and other specialists so your care fits together.

We care for most conditions a primary care doctor would, like asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, and anxiety. Our specialists can advise your provider without you leaving home. If you need to see a specialist in person, we'll make the referral and help schedule it.

Call us. Nurses are available 24/7 to listen, give advice, and connect you to a provider. We can set up a video visit for things like fever, sore throat, cough, or UTI symptoms.
